WPHS Girls Soccer remains undefeated in district play after beating Cypress Creek High School 8-0 Tuesday evening. Senior Ansley Fraizer had a hat trick during the match scoring in the 20th, 49th, and 50th minute. Also scoring for the Wildcats were Sophomore McKenna Singhofen in the 6th minute, Senior Sarah Houston in the 25th minute, Junior Regan Staudt in the 31st minute, Senior Ellie Moreno in the 36th minute, and Sophomore Tess Moses in the 52nd minute. Girls Varsity Head Coach Jimmy Angeles named Sophomore Lindsey Brewer player of the match. Brewer had two excellent assists in the match. The WPHS defense led by Senior Alex Granville held Cypress Creek to zero shots on goal. Senior keeper Daniel Dietz played her first game of the regular season following a pre-season injury. Dietz had a clean sheet for the match. WPHS continues district play on Thursday evening against Timber Creek at Timber Creek High School at 7:30 pm.
